The machine operates on selective photopyrolysis using ultra-short pulse widths (750ps). Instead of generating excessive thermal energy, it creates a mechanical shockwave that shatters pigment particles into micro-particles (like fine sand), allowing the body to naturally clear them rapidly.
With a pulse width 100 times shorter than traditional Q-switched lasers, the picosecond laser minimizes thermal damage to surrounding tissue, drastically reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, requires fewer total treatment sessions, and delivers faster pigment removal.
