Treatment Theory

The 980nm laser provides the optimum absorption spectrum for Porphyrin vascular cells. Vascular cells absorb the high-energy laser of 980nm wavelength, causing solidification to occur, and are finally dissipated.

To overcome the traditional laser treatment redness and large areas of burning on the skin, a professionally designed hand-piece enables the 980nm laser beam to focus onto a 1-3 mm diameter range. This allows more focused energy to reach the target tissue while avoiding burns to the surrounding skin tissue.

Laser energy stimulates dermal collagen growth during vascular treatment, increasing epidermal thickness and density so that small blood vessels are no longer exposed. At the same time, skin elasticity and resistance are significantly enhanced.

Treatment Procedure

  1. Clean the treatment area; any hair in the area needs to be removed.
  2. Apply anesthetic cream to the treatment area as needed.
  3. The patient must wear protective goggles, and the operator must wear protective glasses.
  4. Adjust the parameters. Vascular thickness and depth significantly affect parameter settings. Adjust parameters according to the patient’s skin reaction. An obvious skin reaction where the capillary turns white indicates better effectiveness. If the skin shows little reaction, increase the energy. Start from low energy to find the optimal setting, aiming for slight redness.
  5. After treatment, apply ice for 10-20 minutes. It is recommended to apply repair products or scald ointment to speed up skin recovery.
  6. Avoid touching water for 24 hours. Treatments generally range from 1 to 4 sessions spaced about one month apart (until the wound recovers).
